The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs) Professor Joyce Agalo and the Office of Career Services were honored to host students from
both Matiku and Kyemundu Secondary School on 5th March, 2019.
The students were accompanied by teaching staff. The Coordinator – Office of Career Services Madam Ruth Munene received the students who were then given a guided tour of the University by Mr. Mwanthi of the Office of Maintenance and Planning.
The students had the privilege to visit various sections including the Computer Lab,Engineering workshops, and the Library.
The students had a lot to learn from Prof. Embeywa ,who took them through the career choice, different courses offered at the university and their entry requirements.
The day was crowned with a motivational talk from the Deputy Registrar(Academic and Student Affairs), Dr. Stephen Nzioki Mailu who is also the B.O.M Chairman of Matiku Secondary School and B.O.M member of Kyemundu Secondary School.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs),Prof. Joyce Agalo graced the visit with a motivational talk from the PL3 room that left the students encouraged to work hard.
The day closed with a refreshing moment where the students and staff enjoyed some nice lunch together courtesy of the hospitable nature of our University.
